Losang Dragpa centre
Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre, a not for profit organisation, was established in October 2009 and is now based in a small house in Mayfield, five minutes drive from the Newcastle CBD. The purpose of the centre is to provide an opportunity for people to learn how to solve their daily problems and find lasting peace through integrating Buddha's teachings into their everyday lives.
We hold weekly meditation drop-in classes at The Junction, New Lambton, Mayfield, Newcastle CBD, Charlestown, East Maitland, Warners bay and Salamander Bay. In addition, we also provide a committed study program which is held at the centre most Sundays and daily chanted meditations. Everyone is welcome!
