Living in the Moment
In our busy lives we find it very difficult to relax and enjoy the moment. Even while we are doing the things we like, our mind is never in the present, we are constantly making plans for the future or worrying about what might happen next.
In this drop-in class course, we will learn how to let go of this bad mental habit so that we can make the most of every moment of our life and begin to discover its true meaning.
Tony Atkinson has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for a number of years. His teachings are practical, clear and relevant to daily life.
The teacher of this class is Cara O’Meara who has been practising meditation and Buddhism for 9 years. Cara is a naturally warm and down to earth person, who shares her appreciation for inner development through practical and helpful advice for our daily life.
Patrick Manning started meditation & Buddhism classes in 2009, and has a deep appreciation for Buddha’s teachings. He is a dedicated student on our Foundation Program and teaches with sincerity and humility.
