Many people suffer from feelings of anxiety or are simply overwhelmed by the stress and demands of everyday life. In this half day course will we learn ways of thinking that will help us to let go of these painful emotions and become able to deal with the difficulties of life more confidently and effectively.
Living in the Moment

In our busy lives we find it very difficult to relax and enjoy the moment. Our mind is rarely present. We are constantly worrying about the future, or finding it difficult to let go of the past. In this talk we will learn how to let go of these bad mental habits so that we can make the most of our life and begin to discover its true meaning.
About the speaker
Mick Marcon is the Resident Teacher at Losang Dragpa Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Mayfield. Mick has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism since 2004. He has taught meditation and Buddhism in Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Taree, Forster and Port Macquarie.
Mick is a student of internationally renowned Buddhist Meditation Master; Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Geshe Kelsang is the author of 23 highly acclaimed books that perfectly transmit the ancient wisdom of Buddhism to our modern world. He has also founded of 1200 Kadampa Buddhist centres and groups throughout the world.
